Ms. Marian's Cafe brings together soul food and hot chicken under one roof on East Main Street in Murfreesboro. Owner Medaries drew on her two prior restaurants to build something new.
A menu built from scratch
Wings, ox tail, pork chops, Kool-Aid — every item on the menu was chosen with care. The result is a list of dishes that regulars order the same way every time.
The menu people come back for
Boro Pulse named Ms. Marian's "the home of wings, Kool-Aid, ox tail, pork chops," and one diner, Savannah, called the honey hot wings "a blessing." That kind of reaction tends to bring people back.
Right by MTSU, open to everyone
Tucked near Middle Tennessee State University, Ms. Marian's pulls in students, neighborhood regulars, and anyone passing through Murfreesboro with an appetite for Southern food done right.
