Best Southern Food in Murfreesboro

Ms. Marian’s Cafe was recommended to me by 3 different people (I’m in the area on a business trip) and the food did not disappoint!! The lemon pepper and Ms. Marians way were amazing. Chicken cooked to perfection, had me going back to make sure there was no meat left on the bone! And the Kool Aid!!! I haven’t had kool aid this amazing since I was a young kid! Not to mention the service was phenomenal. I’m sorry I forgot to ask for your name, but the lady up front was a true southern sweetheart…

we visited Ms Marians again today for lunch. I love her wings and I'm trying to sample every flavor. My husband loves the fried chicken livers and fried okra. however everything we have tried is delicious. if you like home cooking that's cooked to order, you have to go there. My husband actually told me I could quit cooking and just call and order and he'd go pick it up. And that is totally fine with me.

OH. MY. GODDDD. Where do I even begin? First off, I highly recommend the fried okra and wings. The seasoning will not disappoint...(My personal favorites are the lemon pepper rub.) This joint delivers that down-home, late-night-snack kind of vibe without fail. When you're hungry and nothing else is open, you're sure to find something you'll like at Ms. Marian's because of the wide variety. Enjoy.

I came here when I was on my lunch break from work and this place was very secluded. The lady at the counter was very nice and she was working hard to make sure everyone was accounted for. I got the Marians way chicken and it was delectable, and their okra is the best I've ever had. I definitely can't way to come back.
